Kosovo Cafe Inspired by a Sack filled with Coffee beans

The organic shapes of the Don Cafe House in Pristina, Kosovo are gorgeous. The design team at Innarch wanted to build a space that would mimic the shapes of a sack filled with coffee grains. It’s amazing to see how the color palette, chandeliers, furniture and wall design all come together to stay true to the original inspiration and offer a unique experience for coffee lovers

No Frame, No Problem!

I’ve been really obsessed with washi tape wall art ideas lately! Framing a print or photograph with washi tape in place of a traditional frame gives a great modern, minimal look and better yet, it’s quick and cheap!

Swedish Apartment Home Tour

This is one of the coolest home tours I’ve come across in a while. I love the all white kitchen and the black bistro style dining chairs. Although the wood wallpaper in the kitchen warms up the room, I don’t think I would have gone for wallpaper in the kitchen for practical purposes—-well I guess I’d personally be able to since I don’t cook very often ;)

The sparse placing of the furniture gives the apartment a great loft feel and I now want to look for one of those free standing clothing racks for my own bedroom!

Color crush

Neutrals and pastels seem to be really big this summer and I’m so happy because I adore this color combination. Especially peach or blush paired with silver or gold. I love how understated and fresh it looks.

The two pairs of earrings featured are by Doble Ele and we don’t have many more so get’em while they’re hot ;)

Here’s a sneak-peek of my recent bedroom design project. I finally got the chance to use this beautiful birch tree wallpaper I bought at Empire (located on Avenue du Parc—great wallpaper selection by the way!) The wallpaper is framed behind the bed and a vintage chest is used in place of a traditional nightstand. I’ll post more photos once all the furniture is in the room ;) We sell the chevron pillow featured here along with similar vintage chests.

You Light Up My Life

NUD Collection is a Swedish company that manufactures these affordable hanging pendant lights. I saw these featured on the wonderful Lake Jane blog. I love how you can interchange the colorful cords and they give a great urban, industrial vibe. I can picture these lined up above a kitchen counter or hung above nightstands on either side of a bed. Will definitely be getting my hands on a few of these! Have a great weekend guys!
